Pomegranate oil is also a good source of certain nutrients like punicic acid, an Omega 5 conjugated fatty acid, as well as phytoestrogen and a rare, plant-based source of conjugated linoleic acid. We use it in some of our hair and lip products to replenish moisture.

A recent study from the University of Michigan Medical School, published in the February 2006 Journal of Ethnopharmacology, shows that pomegranate seed oil helps stimulate skin cell regeneration.
